A Brown Soun began building the Tone Tubby vintage style guitar speaker with Hempcone® for a more robust cone with greater frequency response in 2001. In just a few years, the speaker has developed a HUGE following of pro-players (check out the endorser links). In addition to great tone, the Hempcone also LOVES power. It increases a 25-watt Tone Tubby with paper cone to a 40-watt speaker. Just TRY and smoke these speakers….

Brown Soun Cabinet are constructed with 1/4” finger joints from high grade Ponderosa pine. The speaker cabinet is a vintage design with semi-open back that is a perfect match for the Tone Tubby guitar speaker.

ASC uses and supplies amplifiers with proven high power designs that utilize either NOS (New Old Stock) or new quality tubes such as Mullard, Groove Tubes ® and SovTech. No Chinese tubes here.

Vacuum tube amplifier selection includes custom Bad Cat Class A designs in exotic wood cabinets. Tube amps by various other builders are also available.
