to providing the highest standard instruments built
for guitar players. These guitars are hand-built in
limited numbers using exotic tone wood by experienced
craftsman. These guitars are players instruments destined
to become future classics.
Warrior Instruments began building basses in 1995 and
quickly earned a reputation for beautiful, playable
instruments. In 1998, JD Lewis applied his selection
of vintage tone wood, innovative design and craftsmanship
to the construction of guitars. Warrior produces a line
of exceptional players guitars, including the Vintage
’55 guitar and the Isabella bass, as well as,
limited edition collectable art guitars.
Roger Giffin began building guitars in London in the ‘70’s. He quickly established
a reputation for reasonably priced, high quality “players”
instruments. Regular customers included Eric Clapton,
John Entwhistle, David Gilmour, Pete Townsend and Andy
Summers. In 1988 he moved to California to run Gibson’s
West Coast Custom shop. Clients included Peter Frampton,
Jimmy Page, Edie Van Halen, Joe Walsh and Malcolm Young.
In ‘93, Gibson moved to Nashville. Roger stayed
in LA and returned to building his own instruments as
Giffin Guitars USA. His custom designs include 12 strings
and Micros. Great sounding and playing instruments!

Matt Artinger builds archtop and hollow
body electric guitars by hand from domestic and exotic
tone wood. The luthier carves his own tailpieces and
bridges to create beautiful instruments with exceptional
acoustics and playability.
The ASC Archives features vintage,
custom and unique guitars sold. It is a source for ideas
for designing your own instrument and provides a sampling
of the flavors of instruments we find. Guitars ranging
